Unlike internal combustion engines, electric motors hardly produce any heat. In the cold months it can become a challenge to maintain a pleasant temperature in the driver's compartment in conjunction with an acceptable energy consumption. Certain plastics have excellent thermal insulation properties and can help to remedy this situation. At the same time, they can protect the sensitive battery against temperature fluctuations.

Electric car: Prevent driving noises

It is common knowledge that alternative drive systems for cars are significantly quieter than conventional engines. However, this means that noises that are in themselves very quiet, for example rattling sounds, become increasingly more noticeable.
